From heartfelt moments with family and friends to beautifully designed details, every aspect of their special day reflected their tender love and the cozy elegance. Join me in reviewing the unforgettable memories from Brittany and Tyler’s stunning celebration
Unique in its secluded small level resort style, The Airlie in Warrenton, Virginia, is perfectly picturesque in every direction. As this was my first wedding at this venue, I took time to explore before joining my couple and I was able to pick out more photo hotspots than we were able to accomplish. The top mentions from this venue as you will see throughout Brittany and Tylers photos is the staircase to the main Airlie House, the butterfly garden, and my personal favorite was the historic brick bridge by the lake. This Virginia venue provides a variety of breathtaking backdrops for any celebration.
Beyond the perfectly selected venue, the well crafted florals and decor picked out by the couple brought such a simplistic, elegant vision to life. For this wedding day the couple chose to really allow the venue to be the main focus of their day and then accented for moments it really matter like their bouquets, florals on the arch, and the reception space! Adding a modern touch to the historic ambiance, white florals created a stunning contrast, bringing a sense of elegance and sophistication to the warm, earthy tones of fall. Together, these elements create an unforgettable atmosphere that feels both romantic and enchanting.
A love of travel, raves, good food, and each other Brittany and Tyler shared a laughter filled love surrounded by the most encouraging friends. They also never missed a chance to share their big hearts for their cats, which made an appearance in spirit through their decor and cake! Brittany looked beyond stunning in her elegant long bridal gown with intricate lace detailing, complemented by her softly curled hair and a bouquet of lush white and green florals. Tyler of course perfectly complemented her dressed in a classic black tuxedo.
Now that you know a little bit more about the where and who of this wedding day, let’s dive into the timeline. The morning of Brittany and Tyler’s wedding at The Airlie was filled with excitement, laughter, and lots of fun with the bridal party. Brittany and her bridesmaids gathered in the most intimate, charming cottage sipping mimosas and getting their hair and makeup prepared for the day. Meanwhile, Tyler and his groomsmen enjoyed their own moments of fun in the grooms building across the road.. The historic venue and multiple cottage style buildings provided the perfect cozy backdrop for these special pre-ceremony memories.
One of the most beautiful parts of Brittany and Tyler’s wedding day was their ceremony in the middle of the formal gardens. After a beautiful entrance through the gardens, the couple exchanged vows under a beautifully decorated arch adorned with white florals and greenery, perfectly complementing the rich autumn backdrop. Encouraged in love by the readings of their officiant and family members, surrounded by all their favorite people, and then with the perfect celebratory exit as newlyweds.
After dreamy sunset portraits and energetic bridal party photos, we headed off to their reception. It was the perfect blend of elegance and simplicity, creating an atmosphere that felt both intimate and refined. Soft, warm lighting cast a cozy glow over the space, while minimal yet sophisticated decor, like white linens and greenery accents, complemented the natural beauty of the venue. Tables were decorated with simple centerpieces featuring delicate florals and candles, with the most precious pops of pink and gold accents adding a romantic touch. Guests enjoyed heartfelt toasts, delicious cuisine, and lively conversations in a relaxed yet polished setting. The evening then unfolded with DJ led dancing, a tasty ice cream bar, and hot pretzel station to end the night.
